About Scheduling Bay

Scheduling Bay LLC builds production-scheduling software for manufacturers running Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Our flagship product,Pacer Production Scheduler, turns production orders into a material-aware, finite-capacity schedule the shop floor can actually run.

Why we built Pacer Production Scheduler

Most manufacturers we talk to don’t have a planning problem on paper — they have one in practice. The ERP hands them dates calculated as if every machine could run everything at once, and as if every part were already on the shelf. By mid-morning that plan is fiction: a job stalls waiting on material, a machine is double-booked, and the office schedule and the shop floor have quietly stopped agreeing with each other.

We built Pacer Production Scheduler to close that gap. Instead of infinite-capacity dates, it produces a schedule constrained by the two things that actually govern a factory: the capacity you really have, and the material that’s really available. The result is a plan people trust — because it reflects the floor, not a spreadsheet.

What we believe

An achievable plan beats an optimistic one

A schedule the shop floor can’t run isn’t a plan — it’s a wish. Pacer Production Scheduler respects finite capacity so what you commit to is what you can actually do.

Material reality comes first

There’s no point scheduling a job whose parts haven’t arrived. Pacer Production Scheduler treats material availability as a hard constraint, not a footnote.

The planner stays in control

Automation should do the heavy lifting and then get out of the way. You can lock, drag, and override anything — Pacer Production Scheduler works around your decisions.

It should feel native

Pacer Production Scheduler lives inside Business Central. No separate app to learn, no data to re-enter, no context-switching between systems.
